It was a battle of nerves and grit yesterday as our Maroons took on the league leaders. While the scoreboard didn’t go our way, the passion and fight shown by the boys on the pitch left everything out there.

Floriana managed to find the net early in the 6th minute, but that only ignited our fire. From that moment on, it was a relentless pursuit. We controlled the tempo, we pressed high, and we forced Floriana into their own half for massive spells of the game.

Despite wave after wave of attacks and some incredible shifts from the substitutes, that elusive equalizer just wouldn't cross the line. It’s a tough result to take when you know the performance deserved more, but we hold our heads high.
